Camila Tree
I’m Camila, a CrossFit coach and strength trainer with a passion for helping women build strong, capable bodies at every stage of life.
Originally from Rio de Janeiro and now based in Australia for over 20 years, my journey into coaching has been shaped not only by my professional training, but also by my lived experience as a mother of three.
After having children, I began to see training differently. I became deeply interested in how women’s bodies change over time — and how the right kind of strength training can support not just physical health, but confidence, identity and overall wellbeing.
I hold a Certificate III & IV in Fitness and have been coaching CrossFit for several years. My coaching style focus on creating safe, structured and supportive environments for women who may feel unsure, out of place, or ready to return to training after time away.
My work is particularly centred around women navigating midlife — where strength training becomes essential for maintaining muscle mass, supporting bone density, and building a body that can carry you confidently into the decades ahead.
Foundations for Her
Foundations for Her is a structured strength training program designed specifically for women, with a strong focus on building proper technique, confidence and long-term physical resilience.
Delivered 1:1 or in small groups, the program centres around fundamental movements such as squats, deadlifts, presses and pulls — ensuring women learn how to train safely and effectively from the ground up, regardless of prior experience.
While suitable for women of all ages, Foundations for Her is particularly impactful for those navigating perimenopause and menopause. Strength training during this stage plays a key role in supporting bone density, muscle mass, metabolic health and overall quality of life.
The approach is intentional and progressive — removing the overwhelm often found in traditional gym environments — and replacing it with clear structure, coaching and a supportive community.
As part of a broader approach to women’s health, Foundations for Her complements medical care by providing a safe and guided entry into strength training. Women who are under the care of a practitioner can be confidently referred into the program, where training is adapted to their individual needs, experience and stage of life.
This creates a collaborative pathway between exercise and medicine — supporting women not only through treatment, but through building long-term strength, function and independence
